World Riddle is an attempt to boil down the collected works of Ernst Haeckel to a single set of pieces while following a path of association later on in history to see where inspiration from his work has taken form…
Filmmaker Gaspaur Noe gives his team of animators the book Kunstformen der Natur as reference while creating transcendent scenes for the film Enter the void. Gaspar Noe himself started creating film in the first place by being exposed to 2001: A Space Oddessey at a very early age. Ernst Haeckel had close relations to Nietzsche who coined the term world riddle in the book Also sprach Zarathustra that later on became the title for Haeckels book The World-riddles. In turn Nietzsches book Also Sprach Zarathusta inspired compositions such as Also sprach Zarathustra by Richard Straus wich later on became famous through 2001: A Space Oddessey.
